Difficulty

Adventurous – for active travellers who enjoy full days outdoors. Expect 4–7 hours of activity daily with varied terrain, including gravel paths, forest trails, and alpine river activities. Good fitness is recommended, but no technical expertise is required. Elevation gains on cycling and hiking days are between 200 and 800 meters. Water activities are guided and safe, yet thrilling, making them accessible to anyone with a spirit for adventure.

Travel Options & Local Transfer

Starting point of this trip is Lake Bled in northwestern Slovenia, with the nearest international airports in Ljubljana, Klagenfurt, and Trieste. The tour ends in Bovec, in the Soča Valley, with transfer options available back to Bled, Ljubljana, or airports.

Getting to Bled

By plane: Closest airport is Ljubljana (LJU), served by several international airlines. From the airport, you can reach Bled by local bus (via Kranj, about 2–3 hrs) or book our direct transfer (see below). Klagenfurt (Austria) and Trieste (Italy) airports are also convenient.
By train: Nearest railway station is Lesce-Bled, 4 km from the town centre. From there, take a local bus or book our transfer.
By car: From the A2 motorway take the exit for Lesce/Bled. Bled is well connected to Austria (via Karavanke Tunnel or Loibl Pass) and Italy (via Tarvisio).

By plane: Need to catch a flight? Our transfers from Bovec connect to Ljubljana, Klagenfurt, or Trieste airports
By train: The nearest railway station is in Most na Soči (about 30 km away), linked to Bohinj, Jesenice, and Nova Gorica. From there, onward travel by train to Ljubljana is possible.
By car: If your car is in Bled, we can arrange a transfer back. Alternatively, local bus connections exist but are limited and slow (5–6 hrs via Kranj).
